Bishop Kitonga Academy
This includes distribution of foodstuff to
the needy families, drought victim’s, purchase of blankets
and iron sheets to resettle those whose houses are in bad
shape. Some of the houses in this slum are built with
carton papers and the living condition is worsened by rainy
season. Fire outbreaks in Mathare valley have been a
constant menace. The relief Programme has been geared
towards assisting such occurrences. This depends greatly on
availability of funds.

CHRISTIAN LEADERSHIP TRAINING
Redeemed
Gospel Church has now registered over 200 Churches in East
Africa. Reaching the world for Christ entails proper
training in discipleship, Christian leadership and
evangelism. Therefore the Church conducts training
programmes for Pastors, teachers and Lay Christian leaders
for effective ministry and service. It carries out also
forums and seminars where new approaches to evangelism are
formulated and solutions sought for various problems of the
church to day.

Group Therapies in session
The church is assisting PLWAS to accept their
status and live positively. This is through counseling,
psychosocial support, nutritional support and empowering
them for income generating activities. It is encouraging to
know that through the support given to PLWAS, they are
confidently living with hope after accepting Jesus Christ in
their lives.

RGC
Health Centre
The facility is located in the slums hence
accessible to the community without having to pay for
transport. A maternity wing has been opened and now working
